What or Who is KidZone?

KidZone is a ministry of New Creation Family Church! This ministry, through fellowship between children and leaders, focuses on equipping the children of Gods Kingdom. KidZone provides a fun way of teaching Christian values and principles as a foundation for future development in and for Christ. KidZone provides the building blocks for future development for having a God centered relationship.

When is KidZone? 

Friday KidZone (Every Friday 17h15-18h45)

Sunday Kidzone (Sunday 09h00-10h30)!

 What is the Vision and Mission?

KidZone wants to raise a generation of children who know God in a powerful way, know who they are in God, and want to serve God with all they can! KidZone aims to raise future leaders by providing real examples of servanthood and personal relationships with God to enhance their potential. KidZone wants to create a place where children can share their experiences of encounters with God to inspire others around them to get closer to Him. We want Kids to Reach Kids in a Christ centered way.

What age must you be to be at KidZone?

 All kids in Grade 1 -6 (Age 7-12)!

 Where do you meet?

 Friday is in the Auditorium of New Creation Family Church/The King's School;

Sunday is in The Zone (U2)

 Who runs or leads KidZone?

KidZone is headed up by Pieter (Pete) Trichardt. He is helped by dedicated and much loved KidZone leaders, who are from the age of 15 and up. They are trained and discipled by Pete and other older leaders within the church.

   

What is the Goal of KidZone?

Our Goal is to have Christ-filled and Christ-centered leaders, who serve and impart Godly characteristics in all aspects of Christian growth and development, serving the children in a fun and creative manner, to all children attending KidZone. This is achieved through;

Teachings

 KidZone uses themes, which are divided into weekly interactive lessons. Each lesson is taught by an Administration or Senior Leader and aims to be understandable and fun! All lessons are flexible, yet closely monitored.

   

Games

 Of course, we have game times at KidZone. The games we play are either lesson focused or focused at just having fun. The leaders’ help by making sure all games are safe and enjoyable!

 

 

Praise & Worship – Praising God for all He has done and is going to do is such an awesome part of KidZone. We aim to teach children to worship and praise God in a fun yet God honoring manner. We have praise songs, which we all dance and sing along with, and worship songs where we all quietly worship God in our own special way.

Drama & Dance – With the leaders and kids together; we serve God with an awesome dance team (The D.O.G’S – Dancers of God) who help with the praise and worship, and a talented drama team who help give funny and real illustrations to the lessons each week!

 

 

Small Groups – Small Groups are a vital part of what we do at KidZone. We divide into small groups at every KidZone service where the kids;

1) Chat 1 on 1 with leaders,

2) Learn memory verses,

3) Read and learn bible stories,

4) Perform activities (crafts, puzzles, etc) based on the lesson,

5) And have special prayer with each other led by the leader!

 		 
   

Holiday Club – Holiday Club is the BIGGEST event of the KidZone year! During the 1st week of the June-July holidays KidZone hosts a special half day program for children. It is a theme driven event that is action packed with great lessons, tons of games, and much more! The aim of Holiday Club is to reach children that don’t normally get the chance to experience Gods power and blessing in a fresh and exciting way! We achieve this through servant leaders who build relationships with each child and through the interaction with fellow children who have a personal relationship with Christ.
